The Vision:

Isaiah 58 is Christian Life International's vision to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. As an international ministry it is our goal to not only take spiritual meat to the nations of the world but to also demonstrate the reality of the blessings of God through meeting physical needs as well. 

The vision God has placed at CLI is to not only feed nations, but also to build churches, schools, orphanages, hospitals, homes, roads, bridges, dig wells when needed and to stock all of these with the necessary items to propitiate the kingdom of God in the nations of the world.

Each week, CLI feeds numerous families from the Gulf Coast area who are in desperate need. Thank you to all who make this ministry a reality and for putting food on the tables of the less fortunate who can't do it themselves. 

Isaiah 58 – God’s Word on Fasting:

Isaiah 58:5-14 states that “the fast is to loose the band of wickedness, to undo heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke.” As you continue to read the Word of God in this portion of scripture we see His character being revealed. We are to fast to be free ourselves, then, He asks, “Now that you have been set free from your bondages, do you not have the responsibility to share your bread with the hungry, and bring to your house the poor who are cast out; and when you see the naked, cover them?”

Three great truths have been joined in Isaiah 58 – the discipline of fasting and prayer is united to the ministry of feeding and clothing God’s people through the power of giving. Fasting is directly related to the feeding ministry!
